Homemade Pizza

So for today's post, I decided to share a successful and easy (seriously it take 15 minutes TOPS) pizza recipe that Stephen and I discovered the other night.  Hope you guys enjoy it as much as we did!

INGREDIENTS:

1 store bought whole wheat pizza crust
2 cups of spinach
2 tsp. garlic
2 tsp. Olive Oil
1 cup of Mozzarella Cheese
1 cup of Pizza Sauce
1 grilled and sliced chicken breast (optional)

DIRECTIONS:

In a sauce pan, brown the garlic in the olive oil and after about a minute add all two cups of spinach. Pre-heat the oven to 375.  On a cookie sheet (that has been sprayed with PAM or lightly buttered) spread out the store bought crust and fold edges to form crust.  Place the dough into the oven for about 5-6 minutes (make sure the dough doesn't brown too much).  After the dough has been precooked, spread the pizza sauce until the dough is covered and add the sauteed spinach and garlic as well as the mozzarella cheese. Place the pizza back into the oven and bake until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is fully melted (another 5-8 minutes).

The Pizza Pre-Cooked (we also added some grilled chicken which is optional)

State Capital with Laura!

Hello! This past weekend, in addition to celebrating Thanksgiving and going to a Jazz game, Stephen and I got to hang out with Laura a 17 year-old exchange student from Galicia, Spain! Quick background info, Stephen and I met Laura at Primary Children's hospital (we were helping out his parents and she was a volunteer) and after I realized she couldn't really speak english, and that she was from Galicia,  I KNEW we had been destined to meet.  So ever since then we have been trying to align our schedules so we could take her out on the town...and FINALLY this past Saturday it worked out :) Even though she has been living here for a couple months she STILL hadn't seen downtown SLC so we got to take her to all the sights: Temple Square, the Capital, and City Creek!! We had so much fun and are hoping that she will let us take her on more adventures in the future!!

Utah Jazz Vs. Sacramento Kings

This past Friday, Stephen and I were generously gifted tickets to the Jazz vs Kings basketball game in EnergySolutions Arena in SLC.  It was a really close game (104-102) but the Jazz pulled through at the last minute for an epic win! Thought I would share some action shots I took from the game..Enjoy!

Me looking super tired :)
